Care Revolution Freiburg active on 8 March

As in previous years, Care Revolution Freiburg once again took part in events to mark International Women's Day. It is clear that care is not a women's issue, but one that affects everyone. However, care work and its distribution are massively characterised by gender stereotypes and the gendered division of labour, and this is regularly to the detriment of women. We want to change this, which is why it is important for our group to be there on 8 March. You can find our leaflet here. In the morning and at lunchtime, we had a stand on the square in front of the town hall. In the evening, there was a demonstration through the city centre. This year, with around 800 participants, it was a little bigger than in previous years and the topic of care was also much more present than in previous years. The demonstration was loud, lively and good all round!
