Care Revolution and VdK: carers need better conditions

What carers do every day is demanding. The coronavirus pandemic means they are currently enjoying a lot of attention, but in the long term they need more than that. Care work is mostly unpaid work. As a paid profession, it is underpaid. This needs to change. And not only through more recognition, but also through financial security, e.g. through an unconditional basic income and decent minimum wages.
