Demo in Freiburg in favour of more hospital staff

On 21 September, around 700 people demonstrated loudly and resolutely in Freiburg for more nursing staff in hospitals. Staff cuts in hospitals have long led to unacceptable working conditions and make adequate nursing care impossible. The demonstration also sends out a signal for the collective bargaining negotiations between ver.di and the four university hospitals in Baden-Württemberg, which begin on 27 October. The demonstration was called for by the alliance "Relief now - South Baden for more staff in hospitals", in which Care Revolution Freiburg is also involved.
