Sea of lights on 27 October 2017 - this year also in Frankfurt

On 29 October 2011, a very special premiere took place simultaneously in Hamburg and six other German cities: The only nationwide lantern run for disabled children initiated by the associations nestwärme and Nicos Farm e.V. Since then, people have gathered every year at the end of October, this year on 27 October at 6 p.m., in front of the picturesque backdrop of Hamburg's Rathausmarkt to carry their lights and lanterns around the Binnenalster. The sea of lights has now spread to over 10 cities. Frankfurt is taking part for the first time this year. The meeting point there is at the Historical Museum, Saalhof 1, also on 27 October from 5.30 p.m. The Sea of Lights is supported in Hamburg and Frankfurt by the local regional groups of the Care Revolution network.
