ZusammenCaren - the podcast for the care revolution

Aktuelles – 21. April 2021 – Video
In this podcast, we introduce you to the network and the idea behind it. We talk about this with Anja, one of the co-founders of the Care Revolution network, who gives us an insight into the structures, the three pillars that keep the network alive and listen to examples of successful transformations in German-speaking countries. Care Revolution offers answers to a social imbalance and places needs at the centre. This can be seen above all in the creative actions that the network and the various regional groups have in store, starting this year on 8 March, the feminist strike day, when we took "space for care" in over 10 cities and showed solidarity for all those people whose fridges have not been filled by applause. This will draw attention to the crisis of social reproduction again and again in order to give care work a central place. We will be talking about actions and many other topics this weekend. You can register for the network meeting at https://care-revolution.org/, where you will also find further information. This evening there will be a book presentation by Gabriele Winker on her new book "Solidarische Careökonomie. Revolutionäre Realpolitik für Care und Klima." We have more exciting topics for you in the podcasts coming soon. Take care!Involved in the production were: Fabiana, Alex, Ariane, Anja and musical support: Ole and Jonathan Anja, or Ann Wiesental, co-founded the Care Revolution network in 2014, lives in Berlin and is active in various movements. She gives workshops and lectures on care politics, awareness and the critique of political economy.
