The Thuringia regional group has not existed since mid-2020. If you are interested in a new edition, please contact care-thr@arranca.de or koordination@care-revolution.org. We would be happy to bring interested parties together and support you in setting up a new group!

With our group, we want to draw attention to local reproduction crises across cities in Thuringia, problematise the importance of care work in capitalism and think together about possible political approaches in the sense of a care revolution.

We were founded in June 2015 and have since organised several events, a party and a city tour on the topic. The city tour in particular aims to visualise care work and its crisis-like nature in everyday life. We presented our own experience reports as well as the voices of other participants and those affected. We have developed a participation-orientated educational activity - you could also call it a game - on the topic of care. Our mascot is Kali: she needs all eight arms to provide care under precarious conditions - but she is just waiting to overturn the conditions and place care at the centre of political and social action.

Our group consists of various active people, such as students, left-wing activists, academics, the unemployed, artists, people from the education sector and local authorities. So far, we have met approximately quarterly in Erfurt or Weimar.
