Conference: Precarious in the public sector By Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung NRW together with ver.di and GEW. Mini-jobs, fixed-term contracts, fee-based contracts instead of permanent positions, involuntary part-time work, non-tariff/low wages and miserable working conditions - long-won and secure standards in employment relationships are constantly being weakened and undercut. We want to address this at the conference. Critical academics, trade unionists, activists from initiatives and other people affected will come together to present and analyse the precarious conditions and discuss how they can be countered. Political decision-makers from local authorities will also be present to share their views and gain a better understanding of the problems. http://www.nrw.rosalux.de/nc/event/53641/konferenz-prekaer-im-oeffentlichen-auftrag.html
