Summer Academy 2026: Riding the monster

From the announcement: " At first glance, then, there is not much reason to hope for a better world. But all those who are not satisfied with the first glance can recognise contradictions, fault lines and counter-movements that also play a role in current developments. There is resistance, new alliances are forming and issues that were thought to be dead, such as "socialisation", are experiencing a resurrection. In many areas, there is a struggle over the direction of development, but concepts are still lacking as to how the moments of rupture can be utilised in an emancipatory way.

The Attac Summer Academy wants to make a contribution to this. We are aware that a sustainable solution to the problems cannot be found in fairer capitalist conditions, but only in a radical socio-ecological transformation of the way we produce and live. But where could this transformation start?"
