Care Council Freiburg takes stock

On this evening, we, the members of the Care Council, together with many other interested people, want to take stock of the work of the Care Council Freiburg. The Care Council was founded at the action conference "Care at the Centre - Care Revolution as a Perspective" on 20 May 2017. The Care Council met every six weeks for over a year and primarily focussed on the situation in elderly care. We share the view that there is still a lot to be done in the area of public services of general interest in Freiburg and that we want to use our political commitment to help improve the framework conditions for family care workers, working care workers and people who are particularly dependent on care. We are currently breaking new ground with our work in the Care Council and therefore ask you to come and support us on 30 January 2019. We would like to discuss with you how we can manage to work better with organisations like yours, how we can succeed in exerting more influence on local politics, how we can improve our public relations work and how we can stabilise a stronger social care movement in Freiburg in the medium term. At the end of the evening, from around 8.30 pm, there will also be a small, cosy get-together with drinks and snacks.
