Our answer to the crisis?Come along to Frankfurt am Main and demonstrate with us on 18 March against the prevailing crisis policy! Early morning blockades, CareRevolution networking meeting: 3 - 3.30 pm in the Römer-Bembel restaurant in the small room upstairs, directly at the Römer (Römerberg 20-22), afternoon demonstration, 5 pm start at the Römer.Care Revolution stands for a fundamental change in conditions. The needs of people, not profit, should be the decisive factor for social action. We do not agree with the European crisis policy and are taking this loudly to the streets on 18 March. Come along and take your issues, demands and concerns to Frankfurt am Main with us. With creativity and anger, we want to express what we think of the European Central Bank's new building and demand a good life for all! The European crisis policy is exerting strong pressure on all areas of social reproduction, be it health, childcare, education, care and the double burden in private cohabitation/families. While public debates are increasingly focussing on rescue packages for banks and states, we want to focus on our lives/the living conditions of people and address the prevailing allocation of burdens/tasks to women. We do not see the crisis as something that has only occurred since the 2008 financial crash, but as a fundamental imbalance in the way our living and working conditions are organised by capitalist relations. A feminist perspective on the crisis is a prerequisite for understanding it at all. The effects of the social reproduction crisis are visible everywhere: funding is being withdrawn from women's refuges, youth education work is taking place under increasingly precarious circumstances, hospitals are being privatised and the resulting cuts no longer allow for adequate care, there are long waiting lists for daycare places, there are insufficient services for sign language interpreters and assistance for the disabled, and low wages and Hartz IV are making everyday life increasingly difficult for people, especially those with children - burnout rates are rising. All of these effects are less visible to the public, dealing with them is shifted to the private sphere and has to be solved individually. This isolation and these individual solution strategies need to be countered with more solidarity and collective action strategies. That's why we as Care Revolution are on the streets! Please look out for announcements or check the following websites for dates or simply come to Frankfurt a.M. and look out for the announcements on site. We also hope for the most diverse forms of expression, bring whatever symbolises the reproductive crisis for you: Nappies, mop, whatever you can think of. See you in Frankfurt!http://berlin.blockupy-frankfurt.org/
