A newly founded working group in the Care Revolution network will organise events at irregular intervals on issues that are urgent for our interventions in the care sector. The first event will take place on 7 December. You can find out more below; if you are interested in joining the working group, please write to koordination@care-revolution.org.

Profiteering has no place where care work takes place and care relationships should be at the centre. This position is held by quite a few people. What do we want instead? Socialisation! But what does that actually mean in a field as multifaceted as care? In the health sector, democratisation and funding are perhaps the focus, in neighbourhoods it is self-organisation. We will take three hours and delve deeper, looking at healthcare, care for the elderly and everyday care work in parallel groups and combining our thoughts.

Organised by active members of the Care Revolution network in cooperation with Solidarisch Sorgen e.V.

Speakers in the workshops:

Healthcare: Nadja Rakowitz, Association of Democratic Doctors

Elderly care: two employees of the Lossetal day care centre / Niederkaufungen municipality

Everyday care work: Heide Lutosch, feminist activist and author of "Kinderhaben"

Online workshop on 7 December 2023, 6 - 9 pm
