It has long been clear to care workers and feminists that we are in a permanent care crisis. Staff shortages, care shortages and overwork are the symptoms. (Trade union) industrial action and strikes are an important lever for improving the conditions in the care sector and fighting for an upgrade. What are good strategies for creating better working conditions for care workers? How can we network and organise across different sectors?
We would like to discuss this with trade union activists, interested parties and feminists at the symposium.
