Demonstrative city walk and rally

Women raise your voice!We will meet at Weiße-Kreuz-Platz and walk colourfully, loudly and "visually powerful" along the Lister Meile to Lister Platz. We will carry signs with the faces of important women and our wishes and demands to politicians and the public. The MAIN DECLARATION (approx. 17.30) will take place at Lister Platz with contributions, music and action. We want to show that 'feminism' and the fight for our rights are more important than ever in 2017! Unequal pay, poverty in old age, being affected by wars, violence and hardship, flight, oppression and sexism are still existential issues for women worldwide and to an ever-increasing extent - but women are raising their voices worldwide and confidently organising themselves! At the end of the event, all women are cordially invited to the Frauentreffpunkt, Jakobistr. 2 directly on Lister Platz. There will be time to talk and listen to music over coffee and tea. We will also show the current film by Anne Frisius: "40 years of autonomous women's shelters on the move - ending violence against women!"
