Is the universal basic income a means of countering the shift to the right?

Network Racism and all forms of group-based hostility threaten – and are currently on the rise once again – the people affected, social harmony and, in their organised form, democracy itself. The question is why people develop racist attitudes or worldviews, and how we can counteract them and change the social conditions in such a way as to remove the breeding ground for them.

From the perspective of the speaker, Eric Manneschmidt from the Rhine-Main Basic Income Initiative, the idea of a universal basic income holds great promise in this regard.
