Event on the Care Revolution organised by students at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences

Four students - Anna, Janette, Franzi and Marlene - have designed an event on the Care Revolution as part of their Master's programme at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences and are inviting interested members of the public to attend on 12 December. According to the project group, the aim of the event is to initiate networking between various stakeholders in the Rhine-Ruhr region who are committed to improving the framework conditions for care work. Gabriele Winker will speak about care work under pressure and the need for a care revolution. Wir Frauen - das feministische Blatt, the Women's Forum of the City of Düsseldorf and Ver.di NRW are also taking part as regional cooperation partners. Together, initial ideas will be developed to start a care revolution in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Further information can be found here.
