Who/how cooks and cares has a system!

or Feminist Perspectives from the Standpoint of Social Reproductionwith Ann Wiesental from the Care Revolution Network Capitalist logic not only divides people into the excluded and the exploitable, it also divides activities and work into segregated and capitalised. In addition to the violent exclusion of the "superfluous" and the inclusion of the exploitable, it also builds on the feminisation of activities that are unpaid and invisibly pushed into the private sphere and the capitalisation of activities, which is currently also increasingly evident in areas of social reproduction, such as healthcare and care. Feminist struggles in recent years have addressed this logic under the banner of the crisis of social reproduction, demonstrating that the inherent capitalist contradictions between profit maximisation and social reproduction can never lead to a good life for all people. This is because it is inherent in the capitalist system that social reproduction (healthcare, care, childcare, assistance, education) is not at the centre and that there can be no needs-oriented care for all. The event would also like to invite an exchange about how we ourselves are entangled in a precarious life, possibly with pressure or a shortage of time, or how we ourselves are entangled in a precarious life. with pressure or time constraints or about labour disputes in the care sector that we lead or witness, but also about changes in the areas of care, assistance and childcare that we experience ourselves. The event would also like to draw attention to the open nationwide Care Revolution network meeting on 7-8 November in Duisburg, to which everyone is cordially invited.
