We make unpaid family work visible!

Washing, shopping, looking after children, cleaning, cooking, caring for relatives - women still spend significantly more time on this unpaid care work than men. Equal Care Day reminds us that true equality includes not only equality at work, but also equality in private care tasks.But what does it actually look like at home: what percentage of unpaid care work do I do in our household? And what proportion of paid work do I do? These questions can be asked by anyone who comes by our stand on 29 February 2020 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Freiburg's Rathausplatz. Everyone can enter their own number in a colourful diagram - and enjoy thinking about it for a while on the way home.
