1 May as Invisible Labour Day - this year also in Graz

Bad weather - hard times - fight for feminism!The Interventionist Left Graz has declared 1 May as the day of action for invisible workers. These are all people who do care work: cleaning, cooking, caring, sex, educating and training, listening, nappy-changing, helping people to escape, etc. - and they do it badly or unpaid, often illegally. Care affects us all. But it is mostly women* who carry out these activities, often in private, under insecure conditions,invisibly. That is why we have decorated monuments and statues in Graz today with cleaning utensils, nappies, aprons and the like to make care workers and their struggles visible.
