5000 at demonstration on International Women's Struggle Day in Berlin

Aktuelles – 07. March 2016 – Action
5000 people demonstrated in Berlin on 6 March to mark International Women's* Struggle Day. The demonstration ran for sexual self-determination and gender equality and against the racist appropriation of feminism from Berlin Mitte to Kreuzberg to Oranienplatz. The Care Revolution network took part - loudly with the slogan: Enough is enough. And always has been! Against sexualised violence, sexism and racism, and together with the sex workers against the so-called Prostitution Protection Act, which would bring no protection but control and stigmatisation. Instead, we demand rights, respect, empowerment and professionalisation!
