On its website, Care Revolution Rhein/Main has taken Mother's Day as an opportunity to pose the following question:

"This day was propagated by the flower trade after the 1st World War in order to boost the sale of flowers. In the 3rd Reich, the day became a public holiday.

But who benefits from the "resource of motherhood"?"
