Care revolution with a basic income?

Kalender-Icon 21. October 2017
Whether as a small child we are dependent on the loving care of adults in order to develop as a person, in the case of illness and disability or in old age on good care, we are all needy and more dependent on each other than we usually realise. Our well-being depends on the conditions under which the necessary care work can be carried out to fulfil these needs. What needs to change so that there is enough time and space for good care work by and for all people? How can a gender-equitable distribution of care work be promoted? What impact would good care work have on our society? What would a basic living income change in our lives as carers and care recipients? Do we need a care-centred society and economy? What is it and how can a basic income promote it? We invite you to an evening with experts in the fields of care and basic income from Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Admission free, donations are requested on site.
