Erfurt: Care Revolution

Many people reach the limits of their strength when trying to take good care of themselves and others. What appears to be an individual failure is in fact the result of a neoliberal approach to the crisis. A fundamental change of perspective is therefore necessary - nothing less than a care revolution. In this event, Gabriele Winker will discuss steps towards a society based on solidarity and needs-orientation.Gabriele Winker teaches and researches at the TU Hamburg-Harburg and is co-founder of the nationwide Care Revolution network. The network currently brings together over 70 groups and individuals from various fields of social reproduction -- domestic work, health, care, assistance, education, education, housing and sex work. At the end of the event, we want to make arrangements for a possible network in Thuringia. The event is a cooperation between the educational collective Biko, the DGB-Bildungswerk Thüringen, the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Thüringen and the Infoladen Sabotnik.
