We're doing it differently - the healthcare system of the future

Dear ladies* and gentlemen*, dear people interested in care, we would like to cordially invite you to the above event. The topic will be health and care. What is the situation in Germany? How should it be in the future? Social justice and needs-orientated, what does that mean? How do we get there? The event will begin with a presentation by Dr Thomas Hardtmuth (doctor and author). He will talk about the connection between health and the economy. For example, there is less and less time and money for caring for people in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, nurseries and private households. On the other hand, profit and efficiency take centre stage. Human needs and the foundations for a good life are being neglected. In the second part of the event, we will talk about ways to enable comprehensive care for all people. Good conditions for paid and unpaid labour of care are also important for this. Various groups will present their proposals in this context. They come from the Leipzig Polyclinic, among others, are experienced strikers and (nursing) carers from the Bündnis Mehr Personal im Krankenhaus, run a care service with the aim of implementing the Buutzorg approach and are involved in the Care Revolution network.
