Ecological feminist economics - beyond growth and patriarchy

Kalender-Icon 28. November 2018
Individual and social well-being depends on whether and how others take care of us. The associated work and activities form the basis of our economic system, yet they often remain invisible, unpaid, devalued - and are mostly performed by women*. Is there a "carefree" capitalism? Why is gender still so important for the division of labour, locally and globally? Are ecofeminist analyses and demands still useful, too eso, too realistic, too radical, too exclusive? After an input,FairBindung and the Care Revolution Regional Group Berlin will discuss with you to what extent the crisis of the ecological and the crisis of the social are two sides of the same coin, and what strategies can emerge from this.
