1 May in Frankfurt - Invisible Labour Day

The trade unions marched. On "Labour Day". What labour? - Is this also the day of the unemployed? - And what about all the activities that are fundamental to our society, but which are not paid and therefore not recognised as work, which is painfully felt when it comes to pensions at the latest? We should finally put the confusion of terms right. Women have enough work. What they lack is a fair income and time. Time for themselves and for issues that are important to them personally and time to play a greater role in shaping public life.
