Recording of a conversation with active carers

During the last session week at the end of June, activists from "Care on the Move" and "Care Slam" met with Elisabeth Scharfenberg, member of the Bundestag for Alliance 90/The Greens: a trained nurse and freelance lecturer who offers carers a stage and a microphone so that they can go public: Yvonne Falckner. A geriatric carer who temporarily turned his back on his profession out of love for it: Roger Konrad. A care home manager who provides good quality care in his facility but gets down on the floor in public with frustrated carers: Marcus Jogerst-Ratzka. Their paths last crossed at the Brandenburg Gate on Care Day. They stood there to demonstrate: The conditions in the care sector are catastrophic. They wanted to show politicians and the care companies the red card with a nationwide endangerment notice.Click here for the interview.
