The rally at Invalidenpark on 8 March at 11 a.m. (before the demonstration, which also took place in Berlin) was organised by various initiatives from the fields of health, education, sexual self-determination and feminist groups: Walk of Care, the Berlin alliance Gesundheit statt Profite, the feminist strike Berlin, the Frauen*streikkomitee Wedding, Brot & Rosen, Feminist* Dialogues, Ciocia Basia, the Bündnis für sexuelle Selbstbestimmung, PIA Berlin and the Geburtshaus Maja. Over 600 people gathered on the square for a colourful stage programme of speeches and music from 2 bands. The protesters were also able to leave their demands for a "caring society" on a washing line at the "Care Labour is Golden Labour" exhibition. We were very satisfied with the number of participants and the event as a whole.
