Feminist Economics in the Face of the Capitalocene - Congress on Feminist Economics in Spain

Elfriede Harth, active in the Care Revolution regional group Rhine/Main and Solidarisch Sorgen e.V., among others, took part in the IX Congreso Economía Feminista in Seville from 2 to 4 October, which combined activist and academic perspectives on current economic developments. She notes that the inclusion of ecology and corporeality in Spanish and Latin American debates is more advanced than she perceives here. Anti-colonial considerations that transcend national borders are also a matter of course in the approaches to feminist economics presented.
