Clapping is not enough - Care Revolution on Carers' Day in Leipzig

Aktuelles – 19. May 2021
On Carers' Day, the Care Revolution Leipzig regional group was out and about in the city to demand a solidarity-based healthcare system. First, we organised a solidarity stand in front of Leipzig University Hospital together with other groups (kritmeds leipzig, Feminist Strike Alliance, Poliklinik Leipzig, SDS Leipzig and Prisma Leipzig). You can read and see more here: https://la-presse.org/tag-der-pflege-universitaetsklinikum-leipzig/ Afterwards, we gave a speech on the situation in home care at a Left Party rally under the motto "Now we're talking", which you can read here. Finally, we gave a short interview on radioblau and shared our criticism of the current healthcare system and our ideas for a real revaluation of care work.
