Put down your weapons! Care Revolution active in Frankfurt

The Care Revolution group from Frankfurt demonstrated again today against war and violence. We had already made a banner for 8 March to support the struggle of social workers and educators. Care professions - care work in general, whether paid or unpaid - must be upgraded. It seems almost impossible to achieve decent wages and better working conditions. But without batting an eyelid, billions are being channelled into weapons production. Violence is not the solution to violence! Together with many other organisations, we are in favour of disarmament. Because weapons and war mean austerity policies and savings for the poorest and most vulnerable.
